This coming month of January will mark 5 years of the Gottlund book house. I started out in the old Kutztown Publishing Company location at 243 W. Main St. in Kutztown and later moved into a space designed and built with my father. Being the 6th generation of printer / publisher in my family I take what I do very seriously, while trying to not ‘be’ too serious. My sincerest thanks my family, friends and especially all the artists I’ve worked with who have put their work and faith in my hands. 2011 was a big year for the book house and 2012 looks to be a turning point. We will continue to make every copy of every book & project in house and by hand while branching out to do more special editions and multiples. Come June 2012 we will move the shop to Los Angeles and take on bookmaking in a new light.
